Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of SetGate Studios facilities and website. By booking or using our services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Bookings and payment
A booking is confirmed when we receive a signed rental agreement and the required deposit. Remaining balances are due before the booking start time. Rates are listed per hour and per day; taxes and fees may apply.
2. Cancellations and rescheduling
Full refund up to 72 hours before the call time. Within 72–24 hours, a 50% fee applies. Within 24 hours, the full day is billable. We allow one complimentary reschedule if requested at least 48 hours prior, subject to availability.
3. Conduct and safety
You agree to follow posted safety instructions and not exceed rated loads. No smoking, open flames, or hazardous materials are permitted. Children and animals must be supervised with prior approval.
4. Overtime
Time beyond your booking is billed in 30-minute increments at 1.5x the hourly rate, subject to room availability and staff approval.
5. Liability and damages
You are responsible for your crew, talent, and guests. You agree to cover damages resulting from your use of the facilities, excluding normal wear and tear. We are not liable for consequential losses, including delays outside our control.
6. Insurance and COI
For larger stages, proof of production insurance naming SetGate Studios as additional insured is required. We may request a Certificate of Insurance (COI) before access.
7. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
